Description

For many small businesses the ability to identify and win new business is a massive challenge - and one largely increased through a lack of confidence or experience when it comes to "the art of selling".

This masterclass is aimed at helping those responsible for executing business development and sales in SME business to develop a greater appreciation and understanding of some simple principles that can help to transform how you see the sales process, how you apply yourself to this and how you can develop long term, profitable relationships with your customers.

Session Content

There will be an introduction to the ‘highlights’ such as: -

  • ‘The makeup of an ideal salesperson’ – what do they do that I don't?
  • ‘Why do customers buy?’ – develop an appreciation of the factors that influence a sale
  • ‘The Buying Journey’ – understand the steps in the buying process and appreciate the relevance to your long term business success
  • 'Differentiating yourself from competition' - why this is important and how to do it

Who is the masterclass for?

This short masterclass is designed to help any growing SME looking to improve their sales performance or those simply wishing to add new ideas and approaches to how they currently "sell" to their customers.

Who is leading the masterclass?

Marcus Pearson, Managing Director at Pragmatica Business Support Services Ltd, has over 10 years’ experience working within the local, regional and national business support market place. He has developed a strong ability to work with owners and managers of small and medium sized companies across many sectors. Fundamental to his approach is a belief that no two businesses are the same and as such no single solution is appropriate for all.

This event will be delivered by the ‘Sheffield City Region Growth Hub Enhancement Project’ that is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The project, for high-growth businesses in the Sheffield City Region, aims to increase their competitiveness and so help them grow and prosper.
